Talyn Media didn’t take the scenic route to publishing. We took a twelve-year detour.

For a long stretch, our founder, Grover Bentley, built audiences the hard way: live, unscripted, in real time, in front of a camera. Streaming taught him something most writers never get to learn: how to hold a room, read a crowd, and tell a story that keeps people from clicking away. But underneath all of it, there was always a book he hadn’t written yet. Talyn Media is where that finally came home.

Talyn Media is an independent publishing company built for dark speculative fiction, post-apocalyptic horror, reimagined mythology, and survival stories with real teeth. No manufactured content, no safe endings… just lived in worlds, lethal stakes, and the kind of mature, atmospheric horror that respects a reader’s intelligence.

Our first world is The Citadel Protocol: Set in a ruined Detroit, a vampire species engineered the apocalypse, collapsing civilization to herd the last of humanity into its Citadel Cities. It’s the opening move in a connected universe we’re building one book at a time, for readers who came up on The Passage, The Strain, and The Walking Dead and have been waiting for something that hits that hard again.
